Lobbyist Training

The Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics and Public Trust hosts monthly Ethics training for County lobbyists and vendors as required by the County Ethics Code (Sec. 2-11.1 (s)(4)(a). Anyone who registers as a lobbyist for Miami-Dade County, the City of Miami and certain other municipalities must undergo training within 60 days of registering as a lobbyist.

Training sessions are currently offered online. You must create an account, sign up in advance, pay $100 for the course and select a training date. Once this is completed, a link to the online course will be emailed to you immediately.

Although the website lists actual dates that you must select to take the course on, please be aware that the training session is completely online and the course can be viewed at any time or day. There is currently no in-person training.
